How to keep two login in pidgin(Yahoo and Gmail).
Firstly about gmail account.

Download and Install pidgin. After running it, go to "Accounts"--"Manage".

A new window will appear, Select option "Add".



A new window of "Add Account"will appear.

Against the protocol label, choose "XAMPP" from the dropdown menu.
In the screen name option, enter your Gmail Id.
Enter "gmail.com" in the domain.
Enter "Home" in the resource label.
In the password label type your Gmail password.
In the Local aliases, type your nick name(as per your choice).
Now if you want you can check "Remember password", "New mail notifications" fields, in case you dont want to enter password each time you login and for getting notified for every new mail on your account.



Also you can put your pic in the buddy icon, for that just check the option "Use this buddy icon for this account" .
Now click on the pic icon below, a new window will open for the "Buddy icon".
Select any pic from your computer which you want to use as your icon.
Select it and click open button.


You will be re-directed to previous window.







Now if you are under some proxy server then folllow the following steps:
Goto to "Advanced" tab in the window.

Check Force old (port 5223) SSL.

Set connect port to 443.

Type "talk.google.com" in Connect Server.

Under the "Proxy Options" select the type of proxy you have for eg. HTTP,SOCKS 4, SOCKS 5 and their corresponding "Host" and "Port".



Or you can use "Global Proxy Setting".

Now save the settings by clicking on "Save".










So these are the settings for Gtalk on Pidgin, Now about the settings for yahoo.

First goto "Accounts"---"Manage Accounts" Click "Add" button, a new window will appear.

Under "Basic" tab, set "Protocol" to "Yahoo".

Type your yahoo username and password in corresponding sections.

Here also you can check "Remember Password" option.

In Local Aliases choose any nick you want.

You can check "New mail notificatons" and "buddy option " (reasons are given above).

Now goto the "Advanced" tab .
Here set "Proxy Type" as per your need or just keep it "use global settings".
Now "Save" the settings and you are done.
Enjoy both yahoo and gtalk on same messanger client without extra burdening your CPU (Memory usage will be more if you use two messanger clients but it will be less if you use only one for the two)

Check Who is invisible on Gtalk

Here is a very simple way to find out who is invisible on Gtalk/Gmail .
A few steps are given below with sample pics for better understanding.
Step 1:
Start the chat with the user whose status you want to find out.
Step 2:
Goto to options and click the option "Go off the record". See the pic.


Step 3:
Now send some message to the user. If the user is offline you will get a message in red colour as shown in the pic.



If the user is invisible no red coloured message will be there as shown in pic.



Small catch is that you have to set the chat to off the record when the user is online.
So enjoiii ,use this method and find out who among your friends are invisible.

Check if ur pc is hacked!

Well this is a simple guide to see if ur pc has a direct connection to any ip or server!

1. First or all, close IE, msn, uTorrent etc. (not antivirus!) Anything that may have a direct connection to the net.

2. Open Cmd ("command promt" if u cant find it go to "run" and then type in "cmd" or just make a search for cmd)

3. Now when u've cmd opened, type in "netstat -ano"
Now u should have lot's of ip's on cmd. At the right side, look for where it says ”ESTABLISHED" The other's (LISTENING, TIME_WAIT etc) are not important. Just the "ESTABLISHED" dude has a direct contact to ur pc!

4. At the very right side of cmd u see PID (process id) Look for the "ESTABLISGED" connections PID. Now let's find that bit*h!

5. Open "Task manager" (Press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc", the faster way or just "Alt+ Ctrl + Del")

6. Go to Process > Show > Choose colomn and check the "PID" box, and press ok. Now the process-ID should appear same as it was in cmd.
Now look for the same "PID" which said "ESTABLISGED in Cmd and find it's process name. In my case the dude was "Java client" this time! :/ But if u find anything suspicious just kill the process and that's it. U can also trace em if u like! (It’s easy to find ur friends ip via msn by this, which u should not do!)

How to download Trailers from Apple Site

Here are two ways in through which you will be able download trailers from Apple's site.

1. Using Grease Monkey Script
First install Grease Monkey(it's a firefox addon)
After installing greasemonkey, visit this link.
A script is given here,goto Firefox tools>Greasemonkey>install user script.
A window will appear which will ask for installation , click install.
Now you are ready, goto apple site ,goto trailers section,click on the trailer which you want to download.
You will get a option list like shown in pic in bottom right corner.
Click on the the resolution you want ,the movie will start buffering.
A clickable image will be there on right bottom of firefox near grease monkey icon
.On Clicking it will ask for saving option.
I use flashgot and Magic's Video downloader(both firefox addons)

2.Second Method
Visit the movie page whose trailer you want to download on the Apple site.
Goto Firefox View>Page Source or press ctrl+u.
A new window will appear. Now press ctrl+f.
Search for the type of resolution you want,like search 720p.
On the first hit you will get this type of scriptline

Copy the http link and paste in the browser, add h before the reolution like in the above case

"http://movies.apple.com/movies/weinstein/inglouriousbasterds/inglouriousbasterds-tlr2_h720p.mov" , hit enter.
Trailer will start buffering and after it finishes do as mentioned in method first.

One important thing that you should have quicktime plugin in your firefox which enables the buffering
