Create A Moving Avatar From A Movie (AVI)

In this guide you will learn how to create a moving avatar from any of your movies! unk:

You will need the following software:

123 AVI to GIF Converter

AVI/MPEG/ASF/WMV Splitter 2.31

Ok lets start making your avatar.

Step 1 - Cutting your part from the .AVI which you want to use as your Avatar.

I will be using the Hollywood Movie Spiderman 2 to demonstraight the creation of an avatar. epsi:

Open up AVI/MPEG/ASF/WMV Splitter 2.31 for starters.

Find the part of the movie which you wish to use as your avatar. Once youv entered in your requirements click "Split" to save your chunk!



Step 2 - Preparing to convert your avi chunk into a gif avatar

Open up 123 AVI to GIF Converter.

Click the open button the browse your computer for your avi movie chunk that you just created. Put in the the frames of which you want your avatar to span. Normally 200 frames is the max, however this may vary from different codecs.



Step 3 - Convert your AVI to a GIF avatar.

Now heres the hard part ( Well not really ) Click convert, MAKE SURE that your resolution of your avatar is at the most 100 x 100.

Then Click Convert



Step 4 - Save your GIF avatar.

Make sure that your avatar is less than 1024 KB. since this will be a hassle when uploading your avatar.

Then click on save which is the image of the avatar!



Step 5 - Uploading your avatar
Can be done on any image host
