2. Choose your Add-on you want and download it to your desktop.
3. It will be in a .xpi file and open with WinRAR, choose the install.rdf and open it directly no need to extract the files.
5. Just look for the code in install.rdf file:
Picture on how it looks in install.rdf: Will add it later.
6. Then just change to the version of Firefox you got now, example the Add-on is for version 2.4.1 then change it to 3.5.9 or whatever you like.
I changed it to a later version that havent come out yet, so i dont need to change when the new update comes again.
Then press "X" close the install.rdf file, it will ask you to save, do that and then one question from WinRAR to.
The file "install.rdf" has changed.
Would you like to update it in the archive?
Press OK.
7. After that the Add-on is updated and you just have to take the .xpi file and just drop it over the Add-on bar, and the install will show.
P.S The install.rdf code is very different on other Add-ons so you need to look around in some and in others you'll find it directly! D.S
